Good Newwz Makers ‘Didn’t Want To Offend Anyone While Dealing With IVF’; Reveals Akshay Kumar
During a recent interview, Akshay Kumar stated that they have been very careful while shooting for the film as they did not want to offend anyone considering the subject of the film is related to IVF and pregnancy. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.
The makers of the film Good Newwz are leaving no stone unturned to promote their movie which is slated to release this Friday, December 27, 2019, under Raj Mehta’s direction. Produced by Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar, Good Newwz stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh in the key roles. It was just yesterday when we reported that the multi-starrer has landed in trouble thanks to Akshay mouthing a dialogue about Lord Ram in the latest trailer which apparently sounded like an abuse.
During a recent interview to Mid-day, Akshay Kumar stated that they had been very careful while shooting for the film as they did not want to offend anyone. Khiladi Kumar stated, “We have been careful [not to offend anyone], like we were while making Toilet [Ek Prem Katha, 2017]. But the incident that we are depicting [mix-up of sperms] has happened in real life. IVF is an important subject, especially for families who cannot have children. Many working women who thought they would have to give up on their careers as their [biological] clock was ticking feel relieved because they have an option. He further stated, “It’s fun to reinvent. I get bored easily; I learnt this early on in my career when I was doing only action films. Filmmakers were not offering me anything different. Fortunately, Hera Pheri [2000] turned things around, and since then I am trying to explore different genres. I am a greedy actor. If I am constantly changing my image, it is because I am enjoying it. I am not doing it to set an example. Khiladi Kumar has quite a few films slated to release in the year 2020. Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, Prithviraj and Bachchan Pandey.
