Govinda On His Fear Of Being Called ‘Child Molester’ Due To His Age-Gap With Wife Sunita Ahuja: ‘Itni Zyada Yeh Choti Thi Main Darr Raha Tha'
Govinda recalls how he used to be scared of being called a child molester due to his age-gap with wife Sunita Ahuja!

In a recent interview, the Hero No 1 actor spoke about his love story with Sunita and talked about their huge age difference. For the unversed, Govinda was 21 when he fell in love with Sunita Ahuja who was then just 15 years old. The actor shared that he was initially scared to be termed as a ‘child molester’ for dating young Sunita.
Speaking with Bollywood Bubble, the Coolie No. 1 actor said, “Itni zyada yeh choti thi aur modern thi toh main darr raha tha ki aaj ki tareekh mein iss age mein log pyar karne lageinge toh kahenge child molestor. She was 15, I was 21.” The actor added, “Toh bahut chote the hum log. Toh maine kaha ‘aap bahut choti hai, pata hai ki kya keh rahi ho?’ She said ‘haan mujhe sab pata hai aur main chah rahi hoon ki… I love you’. Govinda and Sunita Ahuja tied the knot in 1987 after dating for a few years. The couple is proud parents to two children Yashvardan and Tina. The duo first met through family members as Govinda's uncle and Sunita's sister were married to each other. During his struggling days, the actor stayed with his uncle for three years. Sunita would often visit her sister and jiju where she used to meet Govinda and with time their bond got stronger. And, the rest is history!
