WHAT! Bharti Singh Didn’t Realise She Was Going Through Labour Pains During Khatra Khatra Shoot; Says, ‘Main Stage Pe Thi, Thought Maybe It’s Because I’m Standing’
Bharti Singh, during a media interaction opened up about how she didn’t realise she was going through labour pains as she was shooting for her show
Television personality Bharti Singh has made a name for herself over the years with her impeccable comic timings. Fans were left ecstatic when she announced her first pregnancy and gave birth to her adorable little munchkin Laksh in 2022. It is a known fact that she was continuously working throughout her pregnancy until her very last month. Opening up about the same, during a recent interview, Bharti revealed that she didn’t even realise she was in labour.
The comedian was busy shooting for her show Khatra Khatra when she started experiencing minor pains when she was on the stage. Since it was her first pregnancy, she didn’t realise it was because of labour. She explained she thought it was because she was standing too much. She went on to add that in between shots she called her doctor to inform him of the pains and he advised her to come to the hospital when she experiences pain every 15 minutes. Bharti went on to tell Pinkvilla that after the shooting of their show wrapped up, she and her husband Haarsh went to the hospital at around 4-5 am without bothering anyone. She continued, “ We took our bag, he got the car ready and we left. We were thinking why bother anyone? We are going for a good thing.” It was when she was taken to the delivery room that Haarsh informed their parents. Bharti is no stranger to negative criticism. During the same interview she also recalled how netizens had been shamed for resuming work a few days after giving birth. For the unversed, she got hitched to comedian and script-writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa in 2017 and welcomed their first son Laksh aka Gola in 2022.
