Bharti Singh opens up about being fat-shamed as pictures and videos of her wedding with Haarsh Limbachiyaa surfaced the internet
Renowned Indian comedian Bharti Singh is no stranger to trolls. In every point of her life netizens have criticised her, be it her weight, over-the-top antiques on-screen, fat-shaming her during her wedding with Haarsh Limbachiyaa or going to work a few days after giving birth to their son Laksh. During a recent interaction, she opened up about how the nasty comments affected her and her husband.
Talking to Pinkvilla, she recalled the time when pictures and videos of her wedding with Haarsh had surfaced on the internet and most of the netizens had fat-shamed her. She revealed that she would often read comments about her weight and how she would crush her husband because he was on the leaner side. She said, “Mujhe kuch logon ne yeh ehesaas dilya tha ki tu moti hai, tu bhaddi hai and teri shaadi kisi mote aur bhadde ladke ke saath hi honi hai. The comedian went on to express that it was only a small section of the internet that mocked them on their reunion. However it was the bigger section of the society that loved and adored them, showered them with blessings, made them realise that the trollers don’t matter much. She went on to reveal that it was her who has to spend her life Haarsh, doesn’t matter how he looks, how much he earns, if he is younger than her. She had even declared it to her family that it was her life and she would marry the person that would make her happy.
For the unversed, she got hitched to comedian and script-writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa in 2017 and welcomed their first son Laksh aka Gola in 2022.
