SpotboyE.com was the first to tell you that Diljit Dosanjh is all set to romance Ileana D’Cruz in Shaad Ali's yet-untitled directorial venture, to go on floors in September.
The filmmaker, who is known to tell romantic stories like Saathiya and OK Jaanu, was prepping to work with the fresh pairing of Diljit and Ileana in the film. However, looks like his plans have fallen through.

We hear, the actress has chosen Ajay Devgn’s Raid over the Shaad Ali film and has bowed out of the latter.
Says a source, “Ileana had agreed in principle to do Shaad Ali’s venture, but she backed out and chose Ajay Devgn’s Raid instead. Now, Shaad is running helter-skelter to look for the actress’ replacement.”

To talk of Raid, set in Uttar Pradesh in the ’80s, the film will see Ajay plays a no-nonsense IT officer and Ileana is his love interest in a role crucial to the narrative. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak. It has been scripted by Ritesh Shah of Pink and Airlift fame. It is expected to roll a week after Baadshaho’s release on September 1 and is scheduled to release on April 20, 2018.
This will be Ileana’s second collaboration with Ajay, the duo is paired opposite each other in Baadshaho and their chemistry in the venture has successfully grabbed eyeballs.
