If there’s someone who’s majorly relieved about the fact that Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha have parted ways, it’s the actress’ mum Poonam Sinha.

Mum Sinha who always keeps in good cheer, a source told SpotboyE, was fed up of verbal spats and quarrels between Arjun and Sonakshi. After dating and breaking up umpteen times, the two had made one more bid to patch up matters and had gone out for a dinner date lately.

The patch-up was in vain. Sonakshi returned home, enraged. The source added that mum Poonam finally took a decision that enough was enough, and confided in a friend, that the strain was telling on telling on Sonakshi because of her endless spats with Arjun over matters including his faithfulness and career decisions.

In sum, the Sinha family is glad to see the last of Arjun Kapoor from Sonakshi’s life. What they think of her steady date Bunty Sachdeva (Sonakshi gets marriage proposal from ex-boyfriend, Jan 24), who’s much older and divorced after a string of link-ups with Bollywood heroines, remains a mystery.
