Deepika Padukone is on top of the world, and why wouldn’t she be? We mean, one look at her movie choices and you’d get what we’re trying to say! Over the past few years, she has consistently churned out some spectacular performances and has slowly but steadily reached the top of the ladder.
Yet, she remains grounded, surprising all with her every move. 2018, the year gone by can be regarded as one of the best years of her life. No, this is not about a movie or a performance in particular, but something very special. She married Ranveer Singh, after dating him for five years.
They had a dream wedding in Lake Como, Italy as they took the wedding vows in both Sindhi and Konkani style ceremonies. Her wedding broke several hearts, but also reinstated the belief in true love. DeepVeer as they are fondly called, had been giving major PDA goals, since a few months prior to the BIG DAY.
And now, as they are happily married, they continue showering heaps of praises on each other, making all their fans go gaga. Ranveer, who has always been this utterly romantic munda, is going all out expressing his love for Deepika. We can vividly recall a few instances like when he said, “Main Deepika ke khayalon mein khoya tha.” And who can forget the winning speech he gave as he bagged the Best Actor trophy at Star Screen Awards for Padmaavat. He had said, “Reel life mein mujhe Rani nahin mili, but real life mein mujhe meri Rani mil gayi.”
There are countless such instances when Ranveer professed his love for Deepika. Deepika, on the other hand, who was pretty secretive about her private life, has also been showering all her love and attention on hubby dearest. Be it their sweet comments for each other on social media, or publicly acknowledging their fondness, they are going pretty strong at it. Currently, they are enjoying their honeymoon phase as they holiday at an undisclosed location, away from the hustle bustle of Mumbai.
