The respected actor has given us some noteworthy films to cherish, over the last two decades. From playing Mumbai's favourite don, Bhiku Mahatre in Satya to doing justice to a sensitive and nuanced portrayal of Ramchandra Siras in Aligarh to his numerous thrillers with a master of espionage drama, director Neeraj Pandey, he's always kept us in awe with his acting brilliance. 1. Special 26 
The Neeraj Pandey directorial was the first of its kind thriller. A breath of fresh air, Special 26 was based on a real-life story from the '80s. It had a great mix of drama, suspense and thrill. Bajpayee was seen in the role of a CBI officer, chasing Akshay Kumar and his gang of imposters. The movie produced by Friday Filmworks paved the way for the less explored genre. The setting and execution of the project were such that the movie was declared a massive hit. And Manoj and Neeraj's talent was applauded by one and all.



2. Naam Shabana 
Another impressive collaboration was witnessed between Neeraj Pandey and Manoj Bajpayee with Naam Shabana. While Neeraj wrote and co-produced the film under Friday Filmworks, Manoj as Ranvir Singh, a special agent, played tye mentor to Taapsee Pannu, a young female agent in the making. Manoj's subdued but gritty performance was top-notch, while Neeraj Pandey won accolades for bringing such a story on the big screen and exploring yet another unexplored area for the mature cinema-goers. The film had a mix of great talents and a good story and served as a great prequel-esque setup. The movie was a massive box-office hit and it was all thanks to Neeraj Pandey's different style of thinking. 



3. Aiyaary 
Manoj Bajpayee plays a convincing Colonel Abhay Singh from the Indian Army, and a mentor to its lead actor, Sidharth Malhotra. Written and directed by Neeraj Pandey, this espionage story is inspired by real-life incidents. Manoj Bajpayee beautifully brings a multi-layered character with undertones of grey to life, keeping you guessing of his intentions throughout the movie. The film co-produced by Friday Filmworks featured international locales. Once again, Manoj and Neeraj came together to entice the audience with their brilliance.



4. The Family Man 
Once again, Manoj Bajpayee displayed his acting prowess with a multi-layered and unique personality as the secret agent, Srikant Tiwari in this espionage action thriller. Manoj's character had two diverse sides to it, one that of a middle-class family man and the other of a shrewd secret agent on the field. Watching him perform in this immensely successful OTT web series was a treat for all his fans. 



5. Satyameva Jayate 
The Manoj Bajpayee and John Abhram starrer was a huge success and Manoj's character as Officer Shivansh Rathod was much loved by the audience. The movie was a complete potboiler with an interesting plot that worked in its favour. It had great performances, fight sequences, trickery and a thrilling storyline that worked wonderfully in its favour. The movie made all the right noises and did so well at the box office that the makers are planning on its sequel.
