Today, India is celebrating Independence Day. It is a special day for every Indian as many know it was the day that our country got its freedom from British rule. On this special occasion, many are extending their warm wishes on social media to celebrate 75th Independence Day. Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Swara Bhasker, Farhan Akhtar, Taapsee Pannu and others are also celebrating India's independence. The stars took to their respective social media handles to wish their fans and followers.

Taking to Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture of himself and wrote in the caption, "स्वतंत्रता दिवस की अनेक अनेक शुभकामनाएँ । सुख शांति समृद्धि , सदा । सब स्वस्थ रहें , सुरक्षित रहें." He also took to Twitter to share a bunch of photos and extended his warm wishes. Swara Bhasker, who is super active on social media, took to Twitter to wish her fans and followers. Rhea Chakraborty shared a video of Indian flag. The Veere Di Wedding actress tweeted, "Happy birthday #India. May your children truly learn to value freedom- their own, and that of others.. and May we learn that the greatest freedom is freedom from hatred and fear! #IndependenceDay."

Taapsee Pannu shared a video of herself waving the tricolor on her Instagram stories and penned a sweet note to wish her fans. Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, shared a photo of the Indian flag and extended her wishes.
