It’s a known fact Akshay Kumar is an early riser, beginning his days even before the sunrises and same will be continued in this brand new year, 2021 as well. The actor wishing his fans Happy New year, dropped a video of the sunrise for the ones who might miss the first sunrise of this brand new year. The Good Newwz actor prayed for everyone’s success and happiness as he wished 2021 to be a great year. Making this video more special are the holistic chants.
The actor, though not seen in the video, was heard chanting Gayatri mantra, he tweeted, “Here’s the first sunrise of 2021, in case you missed it :) Praying for everyone’s success and happiness, wishing for a great year ahead! Happy New Year everyone” The actor in the gone by year was seen creating awareness among the citizens to take preventive measures in order to avoid contraction of COVID-19. Akki’s first release of 2020 was Laxmii, co-starring Kiara Advani.

Also there were reports the actor to have hiked his fees for the projects in 2022, Akki is said to be now charging Rs. 135 crore which was earlier Rs. 100 crore. 

On the work front, the actor was filming for Aanand L Rai’s next film, Atrangi Re co-starring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in pivotal roles. Besides this, his first venture with Rohit Shetty titled Sooryavanshi’s release was delayed with the outbreak of COVID-19, the movie was scheduled to release in April 2020.
