In this episode of 9XM Song Secret, we have our Punjab da Puttar Navraj Hans.
Navraj shared the story behind his song ‘Dil Chori’ from the movie Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which was originally sung by his dad Mr. Hansraj Hans. He got a call from Honey Singh to try this song, who had not told him that it’s going to be in a movie.
He also narrated the story behind Mundiya song, which was recreated for Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2.
Navraj also talks about another hit creation, ‘Gur Naal Ishq Mitha. Originally sung by Malkrit Singh, the song was recreated in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga. When Rochak Kohli, who recreated the song, called Navraj to dub the song and told him that director and producer of the movie will also be there. Navraj was doing so many shows that point of time, so while dubbing his voice sounded very tired and couldn’t give his 100% but he didn’t want to let go off the opportunity, so he requested the producer and director to give him a days time and that’s how this song came out in his voice which we all loved.
