After losing the Oscar race five times, when Leonardo DiCaprio finally bagged the Best Actor award for The Revenant yesterday, the actor’s fans and Hollywood buffs were overjoyed.
The icing on the cake was Leo’s passionate speech on the dias. “I thank you all for this amazing award tonight. Let us not take this planet for granted. I do not take tonight for granted,” he had said (The winner’s speech: Here’s what Leonardo DiCaprio said at the Oscars, February 29).
But a few hours later, it looked like the actor’s award high was already wearing off. Can you beat it, he forgot his trophy at an after-party! A video clip shows Leo leaving the party and getting into a car, chatting with some friends. When a man rushes out to give him the statuette, the actor asks a fellow passenger to hold it instead.
