Hemant Birje Road Accident: 'Adventure of Tarzan' Star And His Family Injured In A Road Accident Near Pune-Report
Hemant Birje and his wife reportedly suffered minor injuries while their daughter escaped the accident unhurt.
Hemant Birje who shot to fame with his performance in 'Adventures of Tarzan', suffered an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Tuesday night. According to the reports, Hemant Birje and his wife sustained minor injuries after the car he was driving rammed into the road divider on the expressway at the Urse toll booth near Pune.
A News18 report further suggests that his daughter was unhurt, however, Hemant and his wife are reportedly being treated at the Pawana hospital. The actor reportedly lost control of the vehicle as he felt sleepy, and the three of them were immediately taken to a nearby hospital immediately after the mishap.
Hemant made his debut in the Hindi film industry as Tarzan in Babbar Subhash’s Adventures of Tarzan (1985), also starring Kimi Katkar.
The actor used to regularly work with Mithun Chakraborty in his films. In 2005, Birje appeared in Garv: Pride and Honour, starring Salman Khan. He has also appeared in Malayalam and Telugu movies.
The actor has also been a part of many films including Aaj Ke Angaarey, Tahkhana, Veerana, Commando, Kabrastan, Maar Dhaad, Sindoor Aur Bandook, Sau Saal Baad, Aag Ke Sholay, Paanch Fauladi, Ab Meri Baari and more.
