Multi-talented actor Ajay Devgn to be seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR in a cameo appearance, left his fans excited. After the news was announced, it was followed by his fans’ excitement. Following this news, the official movie page also posted a picture of the actor-director duo shaking hands as they were all set to start the shoot. In January 2020, the actor began shooting for his portion; the movie page’s post read, “All of us are super charged and ecstatic to kickstart our schedule with @AjayDevgn ji today... Welcome Sir!#AjayDevgn #RRRMovie #RRR”
Now as reported in Bollywood Hungama, it has come as a bitter disappointment, as the actor will be seen for only 8 minutes in this movie. The portal reported, “It’s all eight minutes of powerful action. But for audiences looking for more of Ajay Devgn RRR will be a disappointment. He is only there for 8 minutes.” Set to release in 10 languages and set in the pre-independence era, the movie stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt in key role.
In 2020, India Today had reported how the actor was sceptical about his length of role in the movie but gradually signed the movie, after being impressed with the narration given by the director SS Rajamouli. The portal reported, “He wasn't sure because the part is not very long. It is almost like an extended cameo and he wasn't sure about doing it. But after a narration from Rajamouli, he got excited. It was also one reason why Ajay initially had given a statement saying he wasn't doing the film at all. Things worked out eventually.”
