Apart from being the perfectionist, Aamir Khan is also known to be a marketing genius. He has actively taken part in the marketing campaigns of his films and many have been pretty successful. Aamir definitely goes out of his way tor promote his films and it is not something new. Since his Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak days, Aamir has been very keen on promoting his film in the most amazing way possible. An old video of the actor has surfaced on the web showing him sticking posters of his QSQT movie on auto-rickshaws.
Dressed in a blue sleeveless t-shirt, we see young Aamir Khan holding a bunch of posters. He is accompanied by his friend and co-star Raj Zutshi. We see them stopping auto-rickshaws and requesting the driver if they can paste the poster of Qayamat Se Qayamant Tak on his vehicle. "Zutshi, me, Mansoor and his sister Nuzhat, we would all get into our cars, get on the road, stop taxis and autos. We would tell them 'Stick these, our film is coming out soon'. Some would agree to it but others would not. They would ask us which film is it? Who is in it? Who is Aamir Khan? I would tell them I am Aamir Khan. We tried a lot that people would get to know about our movie," says Aamir Khan in the voice over.
Aamir Khan made his Bollywood debut as a lead actor in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. He was seen opposite Juhi Chawla in this one. The film turned out to be a massive hit paving way for a successful career for Aamir Khan.
