Bollywood’s most energetic star Ranveer Singh is an actor par excellence and his impressive body of work is the proof of the same. He made his impressive debut with Yash Raj Films' romantic comedy 'Band Baaja Baaraat' opposite Anushka Sharma. The 2010 released rom-com earned him recognition and the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Ranveer and Anushka’s sizzling chemistry in the movie set tongues wagging. They were also rumoured to be dating, however, they never accepted or denied their relationship publicly.
But do you know back then Ranveer was so comfortable with Anushka that he once said he can do a sex scene with her again? Yes, you read that right! In an old interview with Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable, the Simmba actor opened up about his struggling phase and his equation with Anushka. Back in 2011, while talking about working with Anushka, Ranveer said, “First time in their history, YRF (Yash Raj Films) launched a lead solo hero who was a newcomer. “I can do a sex scene with Anushka again because she’s a very supportive co-star,” he added.
In the same interview, the 36-year-old actor also talked about the financial problems he faced at the beginning of his career. Ranveer revealed he rejected many offers from great producers as he was waiting for his dream break. He had said, “Things got really bad as my struggle period coincided with the recession, so I really hit rock bottom. My family was also not having the best of time financially. But my family is my grounding experience.”
Ranveer and Anushka had also worked together in Yash Raj Films' 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' and Zoya Akhtar's directorial 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. On the personal front, while Ranveer is now married to Deepika Padukone, Anushka has a daughter with her husband Virat Kohli.
