Hilarious! Karisma Kapoor-Govinda Lose Sleep As New ‘Dumdaar Jodi’ Than Theirs Is Launched; Fans Say, ‘Number 1 Pe Hmesha Chi Chi, LoLo Rahege'

Well, speak of the most loved and successful on-screen couples in the late 90s and Karisma Kapoor and Govinda will surely top the list. The two had starred together in 11 movies and had given many blockbuster comedies like Raja Babu, Andaz Apna Apna, Coolie No. 1, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Hero No.1 to name a few. Karisma and Govinda recently collaborated again, this time for an ad for a popular fast-food chain, and their outing after so many years made their fans nostalgic of the old times.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Karisma shared a video and wrote, “the biggest Jodi is here. If there's anyone who comes close to deserving the title of No. 1 Jodi, this is it! Right ChiChi? Crispy KFC Chicken aur Biryani Rice - yehi toh hai asli No.1 Jodi!.” The ad clip starts with Karisma lying in her bed with her sleeping mask on. Just then she gets a call from Chi Chi, which is Govinda's nickname. The actor, clad in his nightgown, tells Lolo, “Sunn ne mein aaya hai humse bhi dumdaar jodi launch hua hui hai.” Hearing this, Karisma is surprised as she removes her sleeping mask and asks, "humse jyada (better than us)?" Govinda then replies, "Arrey Lolo Sachhi. Isme sab hai, steamy chemistry, juicy andaaz, crunchy swag (It's the truth Lolo. It has everything, steamy chemistry, juicy attitude, crunchy swag)." Karisma then asks, "Really! Kisne launch kiya, to this Govinda munches on a chicken leg and passes it to Karisma and her expressions say it all. In no time, fans flocked to the comments section and showered praise on Karisma and Govinda, calling them the most 'iconic Jodi.' While one said, “Number 1 Pe Hmesha Chi Chi, LoLo Rahege,” another commented, “Ho hi nahi sakti koi jodi is se achhi.”
In fact, many fans expressed their desire to see them together in a movie.
Karisma and Govinda recently appeared together in the Holi special episodes of India's Got Talent and left everyone impressed with their sizzling chemistry. The duo danced together on their popular songs including, UP Wala Thumka, and took everyone back to the 90s.
