The trailer of Housefull 4 has been well received by the audience and the viewers and actress Kriti Sanon nailed at her performance in it. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Riteish Deshmukh and Pooja Hedge in pivotal roles. While the stars are busy with the promotions of the film, recently actress Kriti Sanon opened up about the Me Too movement. The actress shared her opinion on the Me Too movement and revealed the changes that happened in Bollywood after the movement.
The fourth installment of the romantic-comedy-drama film Housefull was to be directed by filmmaker Sajid Khan earlier. Since the Me Too movement struck Bollywood hard and Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment, the film was then helmed by Farhad Samjhi. Recently, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kriti Sanon opened up about her film Housefull 4 and the Me Too movement. The actress spoke how she has always been for the movement and has been quite vocal about it. She added how it takes a lot of courage to come out in the open and speak about what one has gone through. Speaking of the movement, Kriti said how it is unfortunate that there is no legal way to resolve this conclusively, but at least it is important as it has brought in fear in every industry. Sanon shared how she noticed the meetings that would earlier happen at home, were now scheduled outside to avoid coming across as shady. The Housefull 4 actress finally revealed how she is fortunate that she has not been through any of this.
Meanwhile, the film Housefull 4 is scheduled to hit theatres on October 25 this year and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
On the work front, Kriti is set to make a cameo appearance in the film Pati Patni Aur Woh starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. The actress will also be seen in the Ashutosh Gowariker film Panipat starring Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and herself in lead.
