How Arijit Singh was shunted out of Hate Story 3
Most producers would give an arm and a leg to have Arijit Singh croon a song in their album. But the makers of Hate Story 3 think differently. SpotboyE has it that the singer had recorded the number Wajah Tum Ho sometime last year. However, much to Arijit’s shock, the final album included Armaan Mallik’s rendition. So what went wrong?

SpotboyE has it that the singer had recorded the number Wajah Tum Ho sometime last year. However, much to Arijit’s shock, the final album included Armaan Mallik’s rendition. So what went wrong?
Turns out, producers Bhushan Kumar and Vikram Bhatt were not too impressed when they heard Arijit’s vocals.
This was not the first time – before Arijit, the song was recorded by KK as well. That too failed to make the cut.
A source associated with the film says, “After hearing KK and Arijit’s versions, the producers were not keen on having either of them. However, they loved Armaan’s version and instantly approved the track.”
