Hrithik missing from Akshay's party. Was he invited?

Last night, Akshay Kumar hosted a grand bash to celebrate the grand 2016 he's had so far- Airlift, Houseful 3, Rustom (Akshay Kumar Celebrates His Grand 2016 With KJo, Alia, Sidarth, Varun, Will Smith..., Aug 29).
While, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Will Smith, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandes and Sonakshi Sinha rocked the party, we were surprised to not see Hrithik Roshan in the revelry.
Was Hrithik in town? Very much.
While we know that Hrithik's latest film Mohenjo Daro tanked at the box-office a few weeks ago, we wonder if the wounds of that film's fate kept him away. Or was he just not invited?
Hrithik's absence was a glaring omission because he and Akshay stay in the same building in Juhu.
Back to the party. We hear, Sidharth and Varun bonded a lot.
The million dollar question is: Are the rumblings of the Rustom-Mohenjo Daro clash (both released on August 12, Akshay won the battle hands down) still being heard inside Akshay and Hrithik's four walls?
