Hrithik Roshan Amplifies COVID-19 Fundraiser Appeal; Joins Camila Cabello-Shawn Mendes And Makes A Generous Donation

The second wave of COVID-19 has adversely affected India. While government authorities are battling to curb the spread of the virus, Bollywood celebrities are also doing their bit in the best way possible. Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sonu Sood and many others have been helping the country fight against the virus. PeeCee also started a fundraiser recently where she received immense support from Hollywood stars like Reese Witherspoon, Irina Shayk and others. After several other Bollywood celebrities, actor Hrithik Roshan has also come forward to help India fight against COVID-19.

The WAR actor joined Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Ellen DeGeneres and others by donating towards a fundraiser. On Instagram, motivational speaker-author Jay Shetty started a fundraiser. Hrithik amplified it along with renowned celebrities. Apart from this, the actor donated 15,000 Dollars (approximately Rs 11.10 lakh) towards a fundraiser.  Shetty made a post on his Instagram and shared a picture that included Hrithik. Jay Shetty thanked international stars Will and Jada Smith, Ellen DeGeneres, Brendon Burchard, and Camila Cabello, among others for their generous contribution and help towards raising funds. Shetty’s post mentioned that the Smith family donated 50,000 dollars, DeGeneres contributed 59,000 dollars and Shawn and Camila individually donated 50,000 dollars and 6000 dollars, respectively.

Meanwhile, Jay Shetty started the fundraiser, Help India Breathe to help the country procure resources to fight against the second wave of the pandemic. Their intention was of raising 1 million dollars to help India. Other than Jay Shetty, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband Nick Jonas also started a fundraiser. The actress has also been tweeting, demanding the attention of international leaders towards the country.
