Hrithik’s private matter with Kangana affects his public outings
The actor called off an HRX event and skipped Varun’s b’day bash – all in order to stay away from the media
The Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut controversy continues to get murkier with every passing day. Needless to say, it has taken a toll on both actors.
The Bang Bang actor has been telling his close friends how his image has taken a beating due to this episode.
Hrithik, being Hrithik, is deeply disturbed by it and is going all out for an image clean-up exercise.
We hear, the actor has decided to steer clear of media until the controversy cools down.
SpotboyE has it that the brand managers of HRX, an apparel line that Hrithik has lent his name to, had decided to launch their summer collection with the actor.
However, the actor refused them flatly as he did not want to tackle any Kangana-related questions.
And his no-show is not just restricted to his professional commitments. Hrithik even skipped Varun Dhawan’s birthday bash over the weekend as he was sure that he would be hounded by the paparazzi.
Hrithik has even changed his PR team and the diktat given to them is clear: clean up my image before Mohenjo Daro is ready for release.
But Hrithik, how long will you play hide-and-seek with the media? You will have to step out to promote Mohenjo Daro after all.
Or will it be one of those cases where you will only answer questions related to your film and nothing else?
The actor had done so during Krrish 3 – B-town was buzzing with rumours of his then-wife Sussanne having walked out of his Juhu house. Be it during interviews or promotions of the superhero film, Hrithik’s then-manager was often seen telling media channels to not ask any personal questions to the actor.
So will Hrithik do an encore?
