Hrithik Roshan is gearing up to start his next project Kaabil in February with Sanjay Gupta. The film is produced by Rakesh Roshan and will star Yami Gautam opposite him. Rakesh and Sanjay are thick in the preparation for the film despite threats of a court case from actor-turned-writer Sudhanshu Pandey, claiming that the story of the film belongs to him.

Now, hold on! Here comes the story.
SpotboyE has learnt that Salman, back in the 1990s, had shot for a film titled Buland with Somy Ali (Oh yeah, the same woman who was in love with him and on whose head he had rumouredly smashed a cola bottle) which was very similar to Kaabil.

Buland was 80 per cent complete then, but it was canned. It revolved around a man’s revenge for his girlfriend’s brutal rape and murder.
Now, Kaabil is also about a man seeking revenge for his girlfriend’s rape and murder.
The similarity doesn't end there. The gory incident leads to the hero losing his eyesight in both films.
And then of course, you have that Bollywood masala: And then, He rose like a Phoenix from the Ashes.
So, we repeat our question: Whose film is it anyway? Or, to be more specific: Whose film is Kaabil anyway?
