IIFA Awards 2019: Aww-Dorable, Ranbir Kapoor's Babe Alia Bhatt Takes His Special Honour Trophy Home
What an adorable girlfriend Alia Bhatt is! After Ranbir Kapoor's win at IIFA Awards 2019, the actress ended up taking his trophy home, as he was conspicuous by his absence.
The much-awaited IIFA awards 2019 which was held last night ended with a bang. IIFA was indeed a star-studded affair as we got to see top Bollywood stars under one roof. While some in the attendees took the prestigious home, some who won were seen missing and one of them was Ranbir Kapoor who won the best actor award. However, as the actor was not present there, it was his babe and the lady of the hour, Alia Bhatt took this honour home on his behalf. Isn't that adorable? She is a doting girlfriend indeed!
Ranbir got the 20 years best actor male award at IIFA. First, Barfi director Anurag Basu came up to the stage to collect the award but came down and gave it to Alia Bhatt. Wish we could have seen Ranbir and Alia together on the stage just like during Filmfare Awards, the duo would have surely set the cameras rolling and headlines ringing. What say?
Meanwhile, IIFA 2019 was a rocking gala event last night. Performers like Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Salman Khan have set the stage on fire with their ultimate hot numbers. They did nothing but were a complete crowd-pleaser. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Ishaan Khatter, Sara Ali Khan, filmmaker Sriram Raghavan and others were scoring winning trophies in their respective categories. Ms Bhatt won Best Actress award for Raazi while Ranveer bagged Best Actor Award for Padmaavat. Ayushmann Khurrana’s Andhadhun ruled the nominations list in most of the categories and it even won a handful of awards.
