Delhi Belly actor Imran Khan and wife Avantika Malik, who tied the knot in 2011 have decided to take a break from their marriage. Yes, you heard that right! Imran and Avantika were one of those lovey-dovey couples that made people believe in happily ever after. The duo dated each other for 8 years before taking their relationship to the next level. The couple got hitched in 2011 and then welcomed their bundle of joy, Imara on June 9, 2014.
Now, rumour mills are abuzz that Imran and Avantika, who have been married for 8 years now, ‘have called for some time off in their marriage reportedly due to irreconcilable differences’, reports DNA. A source close to the couple told the newspaper, “Avantika allegedly left 24, Pali Hill, Imran’s residence, a while ago with Imara. It is being said that she is currently staying with her family.”

Avantika often posts family pictures. At times, the couple would also divulge into PDA. But since November last year, there are no posts of them together on social media. On April 25, Imran’s wife had posted a thought on social media and the end lines of the post read, “life is way too short to leave the key to your happiness in someone else’s pocket.”
Earlier, Imran had spoken at length about his daughter Imara and said, "Until you have kids of your own you cannot possibly begin to understand it but it is the purest form of joy that there is. Your child laughing, smiling, looking at you is without question the purest and sweetest form of joy and happiness that exists." However, there’s no official confirmation on the same. We hope this is just a temporary situation and can be worked out.
