IN PICS: Rock On 2 Concert Takes The City By Storm

The much-hyped Rock On 2 concert that took place at NSCI Dome in the city yesterday lived up to the audience’s expectations and concluded with a bang. The concert saw Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Shashank Arora, Purab Kohli, Shankar Mahadevan among others perform live in front of a packed auditorium.
While Arjun Rampal came in on a trendy bike, Farhan Akhtar made an aerial entry.
Shraddha looked every bit of a rockstar in a high-waist leather pants and a crop tops with chains. She has rendered all the songs of the film.
A while before the concert was to begin, we caught with the actress and she confessed that she had butterflies in her stomach. "It’s an exciting day for me and I had a sleepless night. It’s a mixture of excitement and butterflies. I hope I don't disappoint the crowd. I still have to pinch myself ke aaj ka din aa gaya hai,” she said.
She went to explain how Rock On!! had a huge impact on her and she wanted to be a part of the sequel. “When Rock On!! released, I told my parents that if the producers make the sequel of the film, I will feature in it. I can't thank the producers enough for choosing me for the project. It’s like a dream come true,” she added.
The film’s music composers, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy also jammed along with the cast and it’s evident that the group had a blast. The audience too cheered them on.
The concert was organised as part of the Rock On 2 promotions and the cast of the project was rehearsing for a while now. The film hits theatres on November 11.
