INSIDE PIC: Amitabh Bachchan Joins Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt For Brahmastra

Preparations for Brahmastra are going on in full swing! Why do we say so? Amitabh Bachchan took to Instagram to share a pic from the look test for the upcoming movie. In the pic, you can see Big B, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerjee indulged in some deep conversation. “Ranbir Kapoor , Ayan and yours truly at look test for BRAHMASTRA .. cool .. shoot starts next month .. with Alia too .. a joy to be with this incredible young generation..,” he captioned the pic.

So, here it is.. the official announcement! Brahmastra will go on floors next month. And in case, if you guys are wondering why Alia Bhatt has gone missing from this pic, let us tell you, she is currently busy with Gully Boy, her upcoming film with Ranveer Singh.

This is the first time RK is sharing the screen space with Ms Bhatt and fans are kicked about it. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film was initially said to be titled Dragon. However, at the MAMI film Festival in 2017, Karan Johar confirmed that not Dragon, but Brahmastra will be the title of the movie. 



 

Not just that, a statement announcing the movie was made last month which read, "Dharma Productions is proud to announce one of its most ambitious films Ayan Mukerji's directorial venture We embark a journey into the realm of a fantasy adventure series which will be a trilogy Collaborating on this exciting journey with us is Fox Star Studios and Namit Malhotra. We are honoured to have Mr. Amitabh Bachchan lead our cast along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The first part of our big screen spectacle will release on August 15, 2019. And we finally have a title BRAHMASTRA."

Brahmastra will mark Ayan's return to direction after two successful films - Wake Up Sid (2009) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013).
