Sridevi’s mortal remains
were brought to Mumbai late last night. Early this morning the Kapoors reached
the Celebration Sports Club, where the veteran actress’ prayer meet took place.
Sridevi was draped in a golden and red
Kanjeevaram saree and the mortal remains were placed in a glass case. Apart
from the family members, Rani Mukerji, Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, Vaibhavi
Merchant are seated around Sridevi’s body.

After the prayer meet, the Kapoors took
Sridevi’s remains to the Pawan Hans Crematorium in a truck adorned by white
flowers. Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor were inside the truck.
Meanwhile, Bollywood has come out in huge
numbers to extend their support to the bereaved family and pay tribute to
Bollywood’s first female superstar. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh
Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Hema Malini, Jaya Prada, John Abraham,
Sidharth Malhotra, Kajol-Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit and many others attended the
prayer meet and funeral.
