Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who tied the knot following Christian and Hindu wedding ceremonies, released their official wedding pictures, yesterday. Soon after their wedding was concluded, an international magazine The Cut.com published an article slamming Priyanka Chopra for marrying Nick Jonas. The article went viral in no time, so much so that Bollywood celebs started slamming the journalist.

A while back, Sonam Kapoor took to social media and lambasted the writer and wrote, “For a publication that “shows women’s what they are made of” @TheCut has a lot to answer for . The article on @priyankachopra was sexist , racist and disgusting. Also it’s written by a woman which is so sad. It reeks of envy and bitterness. @mRiah shame on you!”

@priyankachopra is someone who had always walked her own path. And whoever has written this viscous sexist and ridiculous article needs to be ignored.”

Slamming the actress, the publication wrote, “While Priyanka shops for finer things in life, her team seems to be shopping around for finer men.” The article also stated, “Priyanka’s indulgences and what she views as necessities speak volumes to her personality and what she’ll do, or think she needs to do, for her career” It also mentioned, “Priyanka and Nick are finding ways for their ‘love’ make them money – circumventing the methods used by the celebrities of yore, who stuck to selling their wedding or baby photos to magazines.”It’s indeed heartwarming to see B-Town women unite and stand for Peecee.
