International Magazine Tagging Priyanka Chopra As 'Scam Artiste' Deletes Article; Renders Written Apology To The Couple
An international magazine had published an article questioning Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ love for each other and also called their wedding fake. Now, they have removed the article from their website and have also apologized to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas
Yesterday, an international magazine, The Cut.com had published an article about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. In the piece, the author had clearly questioned and slammed their love and wedding. Soon after the news was published, it received backlash from Bollywood celebs like Sonam Kapoor and Sona Mohapatra among others, apart from million and zillion fans of the couple. So much so that the international magazine had to eventually remove the article from their website.
Later, the editor left a note on the same URL and wrote, “Last night, the Cut published a post about Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s relationship that shouldn’t have gone up. We’ve received dozens of messages from readers expressing their anger. We want you to know that we hear you and we’re sorry. The whole piece missed the mark. There is no good explanation for this other than human error and poor judgement. This was a mistake, and we apologize to our readers and to Priyanka and Nick.” Check it here.
Sonam Kapoor had taken to social media and blasted the writer, “For a publication that “shows women’s what they are made of” @TheCut has a lot to answer for . The article on @priyankachopra was sexist , racist and disgusting. Also it’s written by a woman which is so sad. It reeks of envy and bitterness. @mRiah shame on you!”

Slamming the actress, the publication had written words like, “While Priyanka shops for finer things in life, her team seems to be shopping around for finer men.” The article also stated, “Priyanka’s indulgences and what she views as necessities speak volumes to her personality and what she’ll do, or think she needs to do, for her career” It also mentioned, “Priyanka and Nick are finding ways for their ‘love’ make them money – circumventing the methods used by the celebrities of yore, who stuck to selling their wedding or baby photos to magazines.”
