Akshay Kumar seems to have landed in a bit of a soup following the release of his first look as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. The film seemingly has a few major flaws which landed him in fresh trouble and netizens do not seem to be pleased by the same. In fact, they did not even bother to point of the flaws during the announcement of his first look as the Maratha king. 

The actor has already begun shooting for the film, and netizens have already identified a technical flaw in the teaser. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ruled from 1674 to 1680, but Akshay Kumar’s movie has a chandelier full of lightbulbs – something Thomas Edison invented in 1880, roughly 200 years later.


Well, Twitter does not seem to be in any mood to wrap their heads around the silly technical flaws, and Twitter didn’t shy away from pointing this out.

Akki’s first look from his next isn’t doing well with the netizens and the actor has invited people’s wrath from all the social media sites. 

Netizens have been vocal about the choice of actors for playing the Marathi King and Akshay Kumar was never in the equation. The actor’s first look from the film is out and people wonder why is Khiladi Kumar is even being considered for the role.

Speaking about the film - ‘Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat’ will mark Akshay Kumar’s debut in Marathi films, and third historical film after Kesari (2019) and Samrat Prithviraj (2022).
