Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s darling daughter Ira Khan is currently busy enjoying one of the best phases of her life. Having tied the knot with the love of her life Nupur Shikhare earlier in January, she has been sharing glimpses of her wedding and honeymoon through her official social media handle. On Monday, she shared glimpses of the matching turtle tattoos she and Nupur got during their honeymoon, to remember the time they spent together.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the 27-year-old actress shared a close-up shot of her beautiful turtle tattoo. Thanking the tattoo artist, she captioned the post, “That’s just mad. I’m going to be staring at it all day long.” Ira then reported a story by Nupur, where they are both flaunting their similar yet different tattoo designs. She wrote, “Taking some island back.” As soon as they shared the photos, fans went gaga over the newlywedded couple enjoying their time together. Having tied the knot in a registered marriage on January 3, their elaborate wedding in Udaipur had taken the internet by storm. From Nupur running to the wedding venue in Mumbai and signing their marriage certificate in gym shorts to hosting a a white wedding photos and videos from their wedding are still surfacing on the internet. After coming back from Udaipur, the couple hosted a grand reception for their entertainment industry. For those who don’t know, Nupur is a fitness coach, who has trained Bollywood celebrities like Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan. On the other hand, Ira made her directorial debut in 2019 with the stage production ‘Euripides' Medea,’ an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy Medea. She also launched the Agastu Foundation with her father Aamir Khan, which aims to help and support people battling with mental health issues. The couple got engaged in September 2022 and hosted an engagement party for their family in November of the same year.
