Comedian and rapper Munawar Faruqui took the nation by storm as he won the coveted trophy of Bigg Boss 17. Fans and netizens have been taking to social media to heap praises on the star. On Monday, he was welcomed by hoards of his fans as he returned to his home in Dongri, Mumbai. Being one of the most-loved contestants of BB 17, his win was predicted by his fans since day 1. Now videos of Munawar greeting his fans by standing on the roof of his car while fans swarm his car to get a glimpse of him are going viral.

Various fan handles and paparazzi accounts on Instagram have shared the video. Dressed in a white jacket, denim jeans, and a t-shirt, Faruqui completed his look with a pair of sunglasses. In the video shared by a pap, he is seen waving at the crowd of thousands of his fans gathered to welcome him. He is seen dedicating his win to his fans, who were his strength from day one. He is also seen asking them to make way for his car to pass so that he can greet his other fans. While many flooded it with red heart emojis and fire emojis, some pointed out that Abhishek Kumar deserved to win the show. For those who don’t know, the Udaariyaan actor became the first runner-up. Talking about Munawar Faruqui’s win, the comedian took home the trophy of Bigg Boss season 17, a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, and a brand-new Hyundai Creta. Apart from his bonding with Mannara Chopra, his journey on the show included facing turmoil when his ex-girlfriend Ayesha Khan entered the reality show. She made a lot of allegations against him, accusing him of emotional manipulation and cheating. They even brought up Nazila Sitaishi, his ex who he was dating before Ayesha. The accusations made by the two women had left the viewers in shock. For the unversed, Bigg Boss 17 is Munawar Faruqui’s second reality show win. He had won Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp season 1.
