Ira Khan Opens Up About Sharing Her Personal Journey Online; Sona Mohapatra Comes In Support After Troll Makes Fun Of Ira's Looks
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his former wife Reena Dutta's daughter Ira Khan is an avid social media user and she often uses her handles to advocate mental health awareness. She often opens up about her own battles with depression and other issues.

Unfortunately, even she is targeted for sharing her personal life on social media. On Friday, Ira took to social media to talk about online hate and the downside of sharing her life with the public.

The 25-year-old shared a video speaking about how long it took for her to finally open up about her mental health issues and make her Instagram private.

"I'm talking about sharing publicly. Make sure you know why you're doing it. Then think long and hard if you want to. It's important to speak up and normalize mental health but fight your fight first. And sharing publicly is not for everyone - and I say this with no judgment. I know lots of intelligent, brave people who have no interest in sharing publicly. I know OTHER lots of intelligent, brave people who get bothered by hate and comments on social media. So they focus their valuable energy elsewhere. Take care," she captioned it.

Reacting to the same, singer Sona Mohapatra showed her support by dropping a sweet comment. "Gudia, dolly," she wrote.

However, trolls did not seem to have any chill. Instead, they attacked Ira and dropped several nasty comments in the video. A comment read, "@sonamohapatra tujhe ye dolly kahan se dikh rhi hai bewakuf (Idiot, from which angle does she look like a doll to you)?"

Interestingly, Sona had a befitting reply for a troll as she wrote, "Aapke paas obviously kuch kaam nahin hai, frustrated ho kar yahan pe apne loser life ka poison yahaan pe faila rahe ho. Jao kuch kaam seekho aur karo , loser banke apne ma-baap ko neecha mat dikhao (You obviously do not have any work. You are just frustrated and are spreading your poison here. Go and learn some work and don't be a loser and shame to your parents)."

Many other users came out in support of Ira and lauded her for her message. However, trolls have flooded the comments section with some not-so-nice reactions.
