Social media is a funny place. One goof-up and the world takes notice! Femina recently tweeted about Irrfan Khan to congratulate him on his big Filmfare win. However, in that process, they ended up tagging Irfan Pathan. The cricketer had a rather witty response to that. In reply to the website’s tweet which read, “It was well deserved, @Irfanpathan,” he said, “Thank you and sorry I couldn’t make it but you can send the award to me at my home (sic).”

The 63rd Jio Filmfare Awards were held in the city on Sunday where Irrfan Khan won the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) for his performance in Hindi Medium. Vidya Balan bagged the award for the Best Actress In A Leading role (Female) for Tumhari Sulu. Meanwhile, The Best Supporting Actor (Male) went to Rajkummar Rao for Bareilly Ki Barfi and The Best Supporting Actor (Female) was conferred to Meher Vij for Secret Superstar. Hindi Medium was declared The Best Film and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari won the Best Director.
