In a shocking turn of events, the powerhouse of Talent Irrfan Khan took his last breath on April 29, 2020, that is, today. After his battle with a rare form of cancer called neuroendocrine tumour for the last two years, Irrfan Khan lost his life to a colon infection in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. He was 53 years old. Irrfan’s sudden death has shattered many hearts, as fans and celebrities across are offering their heartfelt condolences. Just like Bollywood, Irrfan Khan was also an extremely popular name down West after starring in films like Jurassic World, Life of Pi, Slumdog Millionaire, Inferno and The Amazing Spider-Man among others.

On his demise, a streak of international media houses like BBC, The New York Times, Unilad and LadBible among others remembered the legendary actor. “Khan was known for his nuanced and understated performances, with many calling him one of India's most talented actors. He was so highly respected, director Wes Anderson once wrote him a part just so he could work with him,” read an excerpt from BBC. The New York Times shared, “Irrfan Khan, an Indian film star who brought a modern sensibility to recent hit movies and was featured in several Hollywood films such as ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘The Namesake,’ died on Wednesday. He was 53.”
