The Lunchbox: The film was packed with love, friendship and warmth. Despite playing a subdued character, Irrfan was a treat to watch. This film was showered with several awards and acclaim including a BAFTA Award nomination.

The Namesake: Irrfan’s sensitive portrayal of a loving Bengali husband and father is simply heart-touching. Even though it wasn't a commercial success, his character will also be etched in our minds and hearts.
