Irrfan Khan’s Wife Sutapa Sikdar Misses The Late Actor On Valentine’s Day; Shares A Picture Of His Memory Stone At Their Igatpuri Farmhouse
On Valentine’s Day, late actor Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar remembered him, and dedicated a post to him on social media. Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar and their son Babil often pen their thoughts and express their emotions through social media posts, remembering the late actor. As the world celebrated Valentine’s Day yesterday, Sutapa Sikdar wrote that she was missing Irrfan Khan. She also posted a picture of the memory stone of Irrfan at their Igatpuri farmhouse.

Sutapa Sikdar took to her Instagram account and wrote, “Nothing is forever except memories #farmhouse #missingyou.” She shared a picture of Irrfan’s memory stone in their Igatpuri farmhouse. “We live because you reside in our soul - Irrfan Forever,” read the memory stone. A few beautiful flowers were placed in front of the stone. In September 2020, after a fan had expressed their disappointment over the condition of the actor’s grave, his son Babil had written, “Baba liked it wild, Ayaan is staying strong :* mamma recently wrote about the wilderness around when some of his fans were worried that it looked unkempt, I need you to understand, he always always wished to be surrounded by the grass and the plants and the trees. Waste and plastic is always removed from that wilderness.”

Sutapa Sikdar had written that women aren’t allowed in Muslim graveyards and so, she has planted the raat ki raani in Igatpuri where there’s a memory stone of the late actor.

“Women are not allowed in Muslim graveyards.hence I have planted the raat Ki Rani in Igatpuri where I have a memory stone of his...where I have buried his fav things .I own that place Where I can sit for hours without any one telling me I can’t sit next to him. He is there in his spirit. But that doesn’t mean the graveyard shouldn’t be tended ..but as far as how is a very questionable thing…” wrote Sutapa Sikdar.

Irrfan Khan passed away in April 2020 after a two-year-long battle with neuroendocrine tumour. He is survived by his wife Sutapa Sikdar and his two sons- Babil and Ayan. ALSO READ: Irrfan Khan’s Son Babil Khan Hopes To Find Space For His Own Award Amidst His Father’s Trophies – VIDEO
