Remember we had told you that Aditi Rao Hydari was the ‘other woman’ that led to the separation of Farhan Akhtar and his wife Adhuna (BUZZ: Aditi is the reason behind Farhan-Adhuna split, January 23). Barely 2 weeks since their split and Aditi seems to have made inroads into the Akhtar family. How do we know this?
So, last night, we saw the Akhtar family troop in to catch a movie at Lightbox in Santacruz. By the Akhtar family, we mean the usual suspects - Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi and Zoya Akhtar. But wait, we couldn’t believe our eyes when we spotted a fourth person with the group – Aditi.
We did a double take and yep, it was still her. Farhan was missing from the picture, so how did the actress figure in the family outing?
Aditi seemed completely at ease in the company of them as the four chatted and laughed away.
The actress was alleged to have grown close to Farhan during the shooting of Wazir. The two even made a joint appearance at Karan Johar’s party in January well after the release of the film. The star wife even had a whiff of their growing proximity but chose to ignore it till she couldn’t bear it any longer.
It’s a different story altogether that Farhan and Adhuna stated that they parted ways owing to ‘growing apart over the years’.
As for Aditi, she was earlier married to Satyadeep Mishra but kept her married status under wraps for the longest time. Post her divorce, she was linked to Arunoday Singh.
Coming back to the rumoured lovebirds. Aditi’s bonding with the Akhtar family is quite a big step in their ‘friendship’. Does this mean they are inching towards coming out in the open?
