Is Deepika Firing Her Stylist After 'Bollywood Blunder' On EMA Red Carpet?
Deepika Padukone's appearance at the MTV European Music Awards made headlines but for all the wrong reasons. And now she has given a dressing down to her stylist Shaleena Nathani
Deepika Padukone has painstakingly established her fashionista credentials in Bollywood over the past years. And as she prepares to make her Hollywood debut with xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, it is but natural that our Dippy wants to own the global red carpets too.
She made her first attempt at the recent European Music Awards and the midriff-baring, slashed to the thigh ensemble did grab eyeballs. But the results were not what Deepika expected. She ended up on many international worst-dressed lists with Daily Mail calling her a 'Bollywood Blunder'.

And now it looks like Deepika has taken this advice to heart.
It surprised us when we heard from a close friend of Deepika's that she had some stern words for her stylist Shaleena Nathani, who is also a close friend of the actress.
The celebrity stylist has been dressing Deepika for her public appearances for some time now. When her MTV appearance got a thumbs down, Deepika summoned Shaleena immediately.
Deepika expressed her displeasure to Shaleena in no uncertain terms and had a long chat with her.
Buzz is, Deepika is even more upset with her stylist as her contemporary Priyanka Chopra has been scoring brownie points with international fashion watchers with her appearances including the famous red gown that she sported at the Emmys.

Deepika has given a stern warning to Shaleena and told her that she does not want any more mis-steps while she starts the promotional trail of xXx- The Return Of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel and Ruby Rose.
Will Deepika plump for a bigger international name to take on the styling duties or can Shaleena save her spot?
Or, will she go by the famous words of her Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express superstar Shah Rukh Khan - Bade Bade Deshon Mein Aisi Choti Choti Baatein Hoti Rehti Hain?
