Is Kareena Kapoor Khan On Social Media? Sonam Kapoor Has The Answer
On Arbaaz Khan’s talk show Pinch, Sonam Kapoor was quizzed about her Veere Di Wedding co-star and close friend Kareena Kapoor Khan’s presence on social media. Here’s what she said
In times of excessive usage of social media, we have a few celebs who still choose to stay away from it. One amongst them happens to be Kareena Kapoor Khan. Now, on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show Pinch, her close friend and Veere Di Wedding co-star Sonam Kapoor was asked about Bebo’s presence on social media. The actress replied, "Not under her own name but under a pseudo name. I know this for a fact." Her reply makes us believe why everyone looks out for Bebo when in need of some juicy gossip.
In the past, Kareena had made it quite clear that she is not too fond of social media and doesn’t like the idea of putting her personal life on display. "It's not that I shy away from it due to the trolling - I don't. Social media is all about self-publicity. It's about making oneself look good by posting pictures or making oneself seem intelligent by giving an opinion on something. It doesn't go too well with me. I am a private person and I prefer personal interactions much more than public ones. It's more important for me to connect with a person face-to-face than put up pictures with someone," Bebo had said.
Coming back to the chat show, Sonam also addressed the Shobhaa De controversy by saying, “There is something called constructive criticism and there is something called personal criticism. I felt at that time that her criticism was very personal, it was like a double-edged sword. She said something very nice about me and at the same time, she said I was ordinary. She said she's a good actress but she is the girl next door ordinary looking. Simple, no sex appeals,” she concluded.By the way, Sonam Kapoor's cousin Arjun Kapoor and Arbaaz Khan don't see eye-to-eye (his ex-wife Malaika is dating Mr Kapoor). So, it's quite nice to see Sonam make an appearance on his show.
