They say a picture is worth a thousand words. One look at Arpita showering her elder brother Salman Khan with her kalira fills in the unsaid story. Look at how Salman is enjoying being part of the bride’s kalira ceremony. For someone not wanting to get hitched, hes enjoying the attention. Surely the significance of the ritual is not lost on him.
They say when a bride showers someone with her kalira, he or she will get married soon. Arpita chose Salman and he looks quite keen to get marry. Thats the reason he actually lay down beneath his sisters beautiful and elaborate kalira.
Arpita also let some of her kalira drop on her dear friend and, ironically, Salmans ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaifs head as well. But that happened much later when the bride got ready for her pheras. It was Salman who got lucky first.
