Is This For Real! Shah Rukh Khan All Set To Pen A Political Series For Netflix Post Bard Of Blood?
After Bard Of Blood, Shah Rukh Khans seems to be planning another collaboration with Netflix. If reports are to be believed, he is keen to pen a political series for the OTT platform.
This is huge. Shah Rukh Khan who has entertained us as an actor for decades may now entertain us with his writing. If reports are anything to go by, King Khan is all set to pen a political thriller for OTT giant Netflix. He recently collaborated with Netflix for Bard of Blood, trailer of which, made it to the internet a few days back. Starring Imran Hashmi it managed to thrill the masses. Now, looks like another collaboration is on the card between the star and Netflix. A report in Mid-day states that SRK has joined the team of writers who are penning the next political thriller for Netflix.
A source has been quoted saying, "Khan, who is enjoying a self-imposed sabbatical since Zero (2018), has joined the writing team in scripting the show. He sits with the team, which includes renowned political columnists, to discuss the material every day. Given his vast knowledge of world politics, he comes up with scenes, referencing them from real-life events and the workings of the political dynasties around the globe. Whether he is taking credit for the concept or writing is yet to be known. However, the superstar has taken to writing keenly."
Post Zero, SRK has been on a break and hasn't signed any Bollywood film as of yet. Seems he now wants to venture into different areas of filmmaking and is quite excited to exploring the field of writing. Zero was a major flop, post which, he is on a sabbatical.
