Ishaan Khatter Wraps Up Pippa, Gives A Glimpse Of His Role As 'Captain Balram Singh Mehta'; Fans Can't Wait For The War Drama
Ishaan Khatter wraps up war drama Pippa
Ishaan Khatter's upcoming film Pippa has been making headlines ever since it was announced. On Monday, makers of the film treated fans with a few BTS pics from Ishaan and Mrunal Thakur starrer. Ishaan will be essaying the role of Captain (late Brigadier) Balram Singh Mehta, a veteran of the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron, who fought during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 on the eastern front.
In the first picture, Ishaan is seen in an army uniform giving a salute. The second picture shows him dancing on a table. The third photo shows him dancing along with a group of men. Ishaan also shared the BTS photos on Instagram. He wrote in the caption, "Filled with gratitude for the experience of this film. It's been a dream to work with a team as excellent as this one. Humbled and brimming with love. This is your Captain Balram Singh Mehta signing off from #Pippa. See you in the cinemas soon." Reacting to it, a fan dropped a comment saying, "Can't wait." Another one commented, "superbb." A third one wrote, "Excited." "Congratulations," wrote a fan.
Pippa also stars Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyulli, and Soni Razdan. It is based on the book 'The Burning Chaffees'.
Ishaan was last seen in Khaali Peeli with Ananya Panday. They were rumoured to be dating. A couple of days ago, Ishaan and Ananya reportedly called it quits.
Apart from Pippa, Ishaan has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Phone Bhoot with Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
