This film not just marked the debut of Shahid Kapoor, but also made a name for director Ken Ghosh in the industry. The promising debut didn’t remain so promising because Ken Ghoshs career didnt take off and he took a 4 year break after his last release, Chance pe Dance. The filmmaker couldn't manage to supersede his past success. But the news is, Ken is working on Ishq Vishk 2 and is actively looking for new faces.
A source close to the filmmaker said, " Ken is working on a sequel of Ishq Vishq. He just finished scripting and Tips will be producing it. Just like Ishq Vishk, he plans to again cast fresh faces. The auditions for the cast will begin shortly. He is very excited about the project."
Well, just like the maiden film that was a huge success amongst the young audiences, and made Shahid a star. We hope and wish the filmmaker all the best.
