broken the news of Bollywood’s ‘IT’ couple- Deepika Padukone and Ranveer
Singh tying the knot this year. While earlier the families were toying
with the idea of a mid-year wedding in July, but seems like that unexpected
changes in Deepika and Ranveer’s work schedule have pushed the date further,
making it a winter wedding now.
According to
Mumbai Mirror, Ranveer and Deepika have short-listed four auspicious dates
between September and December for the wedding, after which both families have
started scouting for venues in India and abroad before locking the final date.
“It will be an
extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in
the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if
they want a reception to follow,” a source told the daily, adding that Deepika
is yet to finalise a designer for the big day.
A few days
back, SpotboyE.com brought to you exclusively that Deepika Padukone is utilising her break
from work (as her Vishal Bhardwaj film with Irrfan Khan has been
delayed due to actor’s health) to strike something off her to-do list and
that’s her wedding shopping. Deepika was recently in Bangalore, her
hometown to shop for her impending wedding.
We also told you
that Deepika Padukone wants to host a reception party in Bangalore, which will
be attended by the actress’ family and close friends.
A few months
back, Deepika’s parents had flown down to Mumbai from Bangalore to zero
down on their daughter and Ranveer Singh’s wedding date. The meeting
took place at the actress’ Prabhadevi residence post which the couple, along
with their families, headed to Four Seasons, Worli, for dinner.
In fact, we also
you how on Deepika’s birthday (Jan 5) the families were vacationing together in Maldives and the actress was gifted with Sabyasachi sarees and jewellery by
Ranveer’s family.
Well, now that the couple has almost zeroed in for a year-end wedding, fans
surely can't keep calm!
