Karan Johar put an end to months of speculations and rumours -- about who will be cast in Student Of The Year 2 -- a short while ago.
KJo revealed that Tiger Shroff has been finalised as the male lead in the film, which will be directed by Punit Malhotra. As is the trend nowadays, the announcement was made on social media. Here’s the tweet:

The original -- Student Of The Year (2012) -- was a blockbuster which marked the debut of 3 of Bollywood’s most successful young stars: Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. It was directed by Karan himself and co-produced by him and Shah Rukh Khan.
Well, we are sure KJo will make more announcements regarding the project. Let’s see who his ‘Students’ will be, this time around.
