Alia Bhatt gets nominated for the Most Inspiring Asian Woman of 2019 by E! People’s Choice Awards. She shall compete with Thai and South Korean artistes for the title; the award will be announced on November 10, 2019, when the award ceremony takes place
Alia Bhatt has always received appreciation for her powerful performances and seems like there is no stopping her. The nomination list of The E! People's Choice Awards 2019 is out and Alia Bhatt has been nominated for The Most Inspiring Asian Woman of 2019, amongst 7 other nominees. The 26-year-old actress is the only Indian to have been nominated in the category. Alia shares her nomination with many Thai and South Korean artistes as per the latest update.
Along with Alia, Thai model Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying, South Korean singer CL, South Korean actress Jung Yu-mi and Praya Lundberg, Raline Shah, Yuna and Zhou Dongyu. Are nominated. The voting for the category is open online and will run on till October 18. The winner will be announced on November 10 when the award show takes place. What a moment it would be for Alia if she ends up picking this trophy. This nomination proved the actress’ work is now appreciated across the boundaries as well.
In 2020, Alia will be seen in 3 big films - Sadak 2 directed by Mahesh Bhatt, Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and SS Rajamouli's RRR.
In the recent past, Alia was left heart-broken and upset with her dream project Inshallah being shelved. Starring Salman Khan and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali it was Alia’s most ambitious project of her career.
She made heads turn just a couple of days ago when she attended Ganesh festival at Mukesh Ambani’s residence with her alleged boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
