The makers of Ittefaq have come up with the first song from the film, Ittefaq Se. Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna, the song definitely is a great watch. Check it out:
Sung by Jubin Nautyal and Nikhita Gandhi, the title song of the film is a beautiful rendition of the Namak Halal (1982) song Raat Baaki Baat Baaki. The original composition of the song was done by Bappi Lahiri and now it's been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi.
The lead cast of the film took to social media to talk about the song.
Sidharth's tweet read, "It all happened that one night… Raat Baaki! #IttefaqSe out now @sonakshisinha (sic)."
Sonakshi also tweeted about the song. She said, "That night, a lot was left unsaid… Baat Baaki! #IttefaqSe out now, watch it here @S1dharthM #AkshayeKhanna (sic)."
Talking about the film, Dev (Akshaye Khanna), a police officer, is investigating a double murder case that has only two witnesses, who are also the prime suspects. The suspects - Vikram (Siddharth Malhotra), an acclaimed writer, and Maya (Sonakshi Sinha), a young homemaker, have different narratives about the events of that fateful night. Both the stories seem true but there can be only one truth. Dev is torn between the two versions of the story, and will not settle till he finds out what happened that night. Will the real murderer come in front? Well, for that you will have to watch the film.
Directed by Abhay Chopra and produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, Ittefaq is a remake of the the Rajesh Khanna and Nanda starrer 1969 film of the same name.
Ittfeq releases in cinemas on November 3. It will face stiff competition at the box-office from Sumeet Vyas & Kalki Koechlin starrer Ribbon and Siddharth & Andrea Jeremiah starrer The House Next Door.
