Jacqueline Fernandez has been making it to the headlines for all the wrong reasons. However, she has finally received some relief in connection to the Sukesh Chandrasekhar extortion case.

Special Judge Shailendra Malik was quoted as saying that the order was not ready and the court will deliver on Tuesday. The court had earlier reserved its order on Thursday after hearing the arguments from Jacqueline’s lawyers and the Enforcement Directorate in connection to the Rs 200 Crore money laundering case.
ED in its submission demanded that Jacqueline should be arrested stating that she could flee the country anytime.
However, the court in return quizzed the ED as to why wasn’t Jacquline arrested so far. A media report quoted the Patiala High Court asking the agency, “Why haven’t you (ED) arrested Jacqueline yet during the investigation, despite issuing an LOC? Other accused are in jail. Why adopt a pick-and-choose policy.”
Interestingly, Jacquline had been granted interim bail previously by the court on September 26 with a personal bond of Rs 50,000. Apart from that, the actor was also summoned to appear before the court when a supplementary charge sheet was filed by the Enforcement Directorate on August 31. Sukesh, on the other hand, has been in Delhi jail since 2017. He was allegedly arrested for cheating many, including former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh’s wife Aditi Singh.
